"I won’t lie, somewhere I got a little attached"
Rakhi Sawant has revealed that she became attached to Abhinav Shukla during her time on Bigg Boss 14.
Sawant and Shukla faked a love affair for entertainment while on the reality show.
However, Sawant has now admitted to feeling a genuine connection with her fellow contestant.
Rakhi Sawant achieved success in the Bigg Boss house. She competed in the finale alongside Aly Goni, Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik, who emerged as the winner.
Sawant consistently entertained audiences while on the show, and also showered ‘crazy’ love on Abhinav Shukla, who happens to be Rubina Dilaik’s husband.
In a recent interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Rakhi Sawant said that what started as entertainment turned into an emotional attachment.
Translated, Sawant said:
“I started a fake affair with Rubina’s husband for entertainment. But I won’t lie, somewhere I got a little attached because he was such a nice person.
“One gets attached even to animals and this was a human being.”
She added:
“He was a nice person, he cared for his wife a lot. He was perfect in every way.”
During her stint in Bigg Boss 14, Rakhi Sawant made headlines for her controversial statements and loud behaviour.
She made sure all cameras focused on her while showing ‘love’ towards Abhinav Shukla.
She pulled his clothes, called him a pervert, and even said that she had frozen her eggs and would ask him to be the donor, all on national television.
Rakhi Sawant quickly made it clear that she does not know what not to say on TV.
Sawant made multiple revelations about her personal life during her time in the Bigg Boss house.
After a fight with former contestant Jasmin Bhasin, she discussed cosmetic surgery and her nose implants.
She also claimed that, when she was young, a man forced himself on her for money.
As a result, Bigg Boss had to intervene and warn her not to share such details on television.
Most notably, however, Rakhi Sawant shared details about her marriage to husband Ritesh.
While in the house, she revealed that her husband was already married and had a child when the pair tied the knot in 2019.
However, she has also recently spoken out about the unusual circumstances surrounding their marriage.
In a recent interview, Rakhi Sawant said that she married Ritesh as a result of threats against her.
She referred to him as a ‘WhatsApp friend’, stating that she had no romantic feelings for him in the early stages of their relationship.
