"These cases were part of a fabricated campaign."
Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt has been sent back to Pakistan after British authorities reportedly cancelled his visa and removed him.
According to Geo News, officials confirmed that he was placed on a morning flight following the formal decision issued in writing by the UK Home Office.
The office stated that he failed to disclose several cases registered against him in Pakistan during his visa application.
Once the information surfaced, the authorities proceeded to cancel his visa, along with ordering his deportation.
Reports noted that his visa had been valid until the year 2027 before the sudden action taken by the British authorities.
His lawyer, Ali Ashfaq Mian, however, presented a contrasting stance and asserted that Rajab Butt was not forcibly deported by officials.
The lawyer said that Butt chose to return to Pakistan voluntarily and that documented evidence supports this legal position firmly.
He released a detailed statement on X saying he possessed the correct records needed to verify this important claim.
He added that Rajab will not be arrested upon his landing at Islamabad airport.
Ali Ashfaq also responded to a follower and confirmed that he had represented Butt in three different cases recently.
He said that Butt was declared innocent in each matter and described the allegations as part of a fabricated campaign earlier.
According to the lawyer, the ongoing cases were temporarily paused based on his advice, considering the situation several months ago.
He added that his assessment from four months ago proved accurate when the recent developments publicly validated his earlier concerns.
The lawyer stated: “Time has shown that these cases were part of a fabricated campaign.
“My advice from four months ago has been proven correct.”
He explained that the court has directed relevant authorities not to create any hurdles that may obstruct Butt from appearing.
Rajab Butt has already surrendered before the Islamabad High Court and is expected to appear in person on December 10, 2025.
The TikTok star’s legal troubles began in Pakistan, where he faced cases linked to the promotion of betting apps through online platforms.
He later travelled to the United Kingdom and continued creating digital content, which helped him maintain a notable online presence.
Reports indicate that Rajab Butt will now resume addressing the pending issues while pursuing legal action against the visa cancellation.
