Raja Kumari surprised concertgoers in New York when she performed the Jawan title track.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper was part of an event called Celebrate Brooklyn, which included the likes of Ali Sethi and Roshini Samlal.
Raja enthralled the crowd by performing some tracks from her new album THE BRIDGE.
She then surprised fans with an impromptu performance of the Jawan theme song.
Without the need for any music, Raja Kumari began rapping. The audience remained silent as they listened to Raja’s rendition.
After she finished, the crowd cheered and clapped while Raja said:
“SRK forever.”

In the comments section, fans applauded Raja, posting clapping and fire emojis.
One person said: “This girl goes like a bullet.”
Raja added: “Can’t wait to perform this at every event for the rest of my life.”
For her concert, Raja jumped on the Barbie bandwagon with her pink ensemble.
She rocked a hot pink cape saree and matched it with pink heels and sunglasses.
On Instagram, Raja said: “Indian Barbie but the gang is Gulabi.”
Raja Kumari wrote the lyrics while Anirudh Ravichandran is the composer for the film.
The theme song was played during the Jawan Prevue. Afterwards, Raja could not contain her excitement and wrote:
“Thank you, Anirudh and Shah Rukh Khan for calling me to write and perform the title track! Can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
Speaking about the inspiration behind THE BRIDGE, Raja said:
“The message and inspiration behind THE BRIDGE for me, is evolution.”
“It’s about acceptance and integration. I made this during the pandemic so that it actually chronicles the different emotions that I was able to bring to light during this time of reflection.
“So it starts in a place where maybe fear may have dominated some of my mindsets and towards the end it concludes with the song ‘Fearless’, which I think is a liberation from some of the self-inflicted turmoil I put myself in.
“So I really feel like the message behind this album is about bridging the gap between your old self and your new self and really honouring that journey.”
Meanwhile, the Jawan teaser revealed several looks for Shah Rukh Khan, including a bandaged appearance and even a bald look.
The teaser also revealed that Deepika Padukone will have a cameo.
The film is set to release on September 7, 2023.
