    First QMoble HUM Style Awards

    “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan never fails to mesmerise his audience”

    Elegance, glamour, and sophistication, defined the first ever Qmobile HUM Style Awards 2016.

    Karachi, Expo Center, was the host to this glittering ceremony, which celebrated the most stylish personalities, from across the fashion, music, television, and sports industry of Pakistan.

    Eloquently hosted by Ahmed Ali, Adnan Malik, Amina Sheikh and Ayesha Omar, the evening was packed with outstanding performances, marking the most dazzling fashion designs.

    Gorgeous Ayesha Omar looked a vision in a white flowery floor-sweeping gown, by Shehla Chatoor.

    Zaid Ali, the popular Canadian YouTuber, was seen delivering the laughs, and adding humour to the fashion stage.

    The handsome comedian looked dapper in a slim cut navy suit, entertaining the Pakistani audience live for the first time.

    First QMobile HUM Style Awards

    Another first for a Pakistani Award ceremony was a mixture of sports and entertainment. The sparkling event witnessed the dashing cricket personalities, Wasim Akram, Shahid Afridi, and Shoaib Malik.

    These three striking players were the top class grace of the glamorous evening. Wasim Akram took the award for ‘Style Icon of the Year,’ while the most ‘Stylish Sports Personality’ went to Shahid Afridi, who dedicated it to Shoaib Malik.

    Popular designer, HSY who took to the stage with his unbeatable moves, said: “HUM Style Awards, first of its kind. The most amazing part is everyone is together, smiling, and looking fabulous.”

    While performing to 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000 favourites, HSY got the audience dancing with his liveliness.

    Other performances kept the audience captivated throughout the night. The opening act, featuring Meesha Shafi and Umair Jaswal, introduced a Desi style black hat dance.

    While Saba Qamar, presented the Punjabi Classic, Kala Doriya. The popular rock star, Ali Zafar, rocked to some of his biggest hits, with Sohai Ali Abro.

    Alongside all of the entertainment was the big name, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He was the voice of the glittering night. A treasure to Pakistan. His each performance echoed perfection. Whatever he sings, this artistic gem always steals the show.

    The master of soulful tunes earned praises from Pakistan’s fashion publications. HELLO! Pakistan admitted: “Rahat Fateh Ali Khan never fails to mesmerise his audience.”

    Hamza Ali Abbasi, the Mann Mayal actor, smartly walked the red carpet in his sophisticated black trim gear. Once again, taking the label of the most stylish personality!

    All eyes were set on the beautiful Mahira Khan, who looked regal in a black detailed saree by Rizwan Beyg. Keeping it minimal with a slicked back hairdo.

    No wonder she unsurprisingly wins the ‘Most Stylish Film Actress’ award, alongside the ever so fine-looking Humayun Saeed.

    All in all, Sajal Ali, the star of Gul-e-Rana, was seen charming away in a magical gown by Nomi Ansari. Keeping it graceful with a neat high bun, she outshined the rest. Dressed in all white, she truly looked a princess out of a dreamy fairytale.

    Some of the other stars that made trendy entrances, included, the sisters Urwa and Mawra Hocane, Nawin Waqar, Imran Abbas, Feroze Malik, Syra Shahroz and Minal Khan.

    Luxurious ball gowns in light and muted hues were popular choices for female celebs, oozing simplicity and elegance. While for the men, sleek suits were the charm.
