Priyanka Chopra has hinted that she will not be attending Parineeti’s wedding.
Parineeti is getting married to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur.
It had been reported that her cousin Priyanka will be attending the wedding with her daughter Malti Marie as it is unlikely that her husband Nick Jonas will be there due to his ongoing Jonas Brothers tour.
But so far, only Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra has been seen at the pre-wedding preparations.
There are now suggestions that Priyanka will not be attending the wedding after the actress sent her best wishes to her cousin.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared a throwback picture of a smiling Parineeti.
Priyanka wrote: “I hope you are as happy and content as this on your big day little one… always wishing you so much love #newbeginnings @parineetichopra @raghavchadha88.”
Priyanka is still in the United States and shortly before her Instagram Story, she shared a video of herself, Malti and her brother-in-law Frankie Jonas as they visited a farm.
In the video, Priyanka played with a goat as it stood on her back.
She laughed while the goat enjoyed the leaves on a tree above.
Meanwhile, Malti was standing among the animals.
Priyanka was seen wearing a white shirt, khaki pants, a cap and white sneakers in the clip.
Frankie posed with a few birds on his head and hands.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to get married in Udaipur’s The Leela Palace on September 24, 2023.
Guests and family members have begun arriving at the destination.
On September 23, the couple are expected to begin their pre-wedding ceremony, starting with the haldi.
The couple will have their haldi ceremony together. This will be followed by a sangeet ceremony in the evening.
It will be a musical evening with a 90s theme.
A special playlist of 90s songs is in place to kick off the celebrations.
Parineeti’s ‘chooda’ ceremony is likely to happen on September 24 at the Maharaja suite just before the wedding.
The theme for the ceremony is ‘Adorn With Love’ and family members are calling it ‘Pari’s Chopra Ceremony’.
Parineeti and Raghav’s relationship has been the subject of secrecy since they were first spotted out for dinner together in March 2023.
Neither spoke about the relationship but they ended up getting engaged on May 13, 2023, at Kapurthala House in New Delhi.
