Preity Zinta and American financial analyst Gene Goodenough dated for five years after meeting in 2011.

Asked by a fan about their relationship, the actress had said:

“I met him in Santa Monica in Los Angeles. Then we dated for five years and we finally got married.”

Zinta jokingly added:

“I am not going to tell you the details.”

They are not the first star couple to choose surrogacy with Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan also doing so.

Preity Zinta made her debut in Mani Ratnam’s romantic thriller Dil Se… (1998) with Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala.

The actress then went on to star in a number of successful movies and won several accolades for her performances.

Some of her most notable works include Koi… Mil Gaya (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004) and Salaam Namaste (2005).

Zinta was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit (2018) but the action-comedy with Sunny Deol ended up flopping at the box office.

Preity Zinta is expected to return to screens with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani (2022). The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.

It has been directed by Karan Johar and also features Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan.
