Filmmaker and choreographer Prabhu Deva has reportedly married again.

Rumours are circulating that he married his physiotherapist at his Mumbai home sometime in September 2020. The couple is now said to be living in Chennai.

Prabhu was previously married to Ramlatha and they had three children together, however, they divorced in 2011. He also had a relationship with actress Nayanthara.

There had been a lot of media reports that he was set to get married and preparations were being made.

However, according to sources, the choreographer seems to have already tied the knot.

It looked as though he successfully managed to keep the marriage a secret but it came to light after rumours appeared on social media which said that he was going to marry his niece.

The source said the two met in Mumbai where Prabhu was seeking treatment for his back issues. They soon started dating and eventually got married.

The source also rubbished claims that Prabhu Deva married his niece.

“The latest reports are all baseless. Prabhu Deva got married in September and his wife is a physiotherapist and not his niece.

“They were seeing each other for quite some time now.

“She was treating him for his back injury and the wedding took place a couple of months ago. The couple is now living in Chennai.”

While Prabhu has not officially confirmed his marriage, the source said it was a small wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Prabhu Deva’s personal life has been in the limelight for several years.

He and Nayanthara dated between 2010 and 2012. Nayanthara opened up about the breakup in a previous interview. She said:

“To get into a break-up for anyone is the most difficult phase in their life. When you have to go away from someone you love or vice-versa, whatever the reason, it really shatters your life.

“But how you deal with it is important. I can’t get into how I dealt with it but I have to if I want to move on and live my life.”

On the work front, Prabhu last directed the 2019 Salman Khan action-comedy Dabangg 3.

He recently wrapped up the shoot of Radhe: Your Most wanted Bhai, also starring Salman Khan.

The film was set to release in May 2020, however, it was postponed due to the pandemic. Shooting finished on October 14, 2020.
