"this will only get her eyeballs"
Nikki Tamboli came out in support of Shamita Shetty whilst also aiming a dig at Devoleena Bhattacharjee following a promo for Bigg Boss 15‘s ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode.
The episode will show wildcard contestant Devoleena making several rude comments towards Shamita.
A task saw contestants reading out comments against people they do not like.
While reading a comment for Shamita, Devoleena calls her ‘dogla’ (two-faced).
She then told Shamita: “If you make a mistake, learn to accept it. Otherwise, you look like a hypocrite.”
The pair then confront one another before Shamita is later seen crying.
Nikki Tamboli, who appeared on Bigg Boss 14, came out in support of Shamita.
In a lengthy post, she indirectly threw a jibe at Devoleena, saying that wildcards never win the show.
Nikki wrote: “It is sad we live in a society where if a woman voices her opinion more often than not it is taken as being dominating and the same goes for Shamita.
“A girl brought up with dignity and class will behave a certain way which sadly passes off as snooty and proud and even if she is one then just let’s accept it and move on.
“She isn’t pointing fingers at your personality or expecting a justification so why are you, your game is Bigg Boss not uncover Shamita right?
“A wildcard contestant and comes in and says things to her knowing very well this will only get her eyeballs so she chooses her enemies well to make sure promo cuts have her in it.
“Well, lets just accept the reality that wildcard entries never lift the trophy.”
Nikki went on to say that Shamita is experiencing a phase on the show that is similar to her own.
She continued: “I completely understand how she must be feeling as I have been in a similar position once, being alienated and left alone is only one of the things what really happens at some point you begin to question it all.
“But Shamita I just want you to hang in there you are stronger than this, let the world watch you lift the trophy this year.”

The episode will also see Salman Khan blast Devoleena for her comments.
He tells her: “Devoleena since the time you have come in, you have gone after her. It feels like you have got a complex with her.”
Devoleena responds: “Sir, this is my opinion.”
However, Salman does not believe her and says:
“It seems you are climbing on her shoulders and to be noticed right now.”
