Netizens are taking to Twitter to slam the Indian TV channel Colors after they released a controversial promotional video.
The channel recently dropped a new video advert for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
The celebrities featured in the video are TV actor Arjun Bijlani, actress Shweta Tiwari and singer Rahul Vaidya.
The video is titled ‘Arjun The Wild’ and includes Arjun Bijlani talking about Tiwari and Vaidya in a disrespectful manner.
Colors TV released the video on Twitter on Monday, August 2, 2021.

In the video, Bijlani names the animal that he believes best describes the behaviour of his fellow contestants.
He refers to Shweta Tiwari as a sly fox and Rahul Vaidya as a hyena.
Bijlani also says that Vaidya only looks like a hyena, and shares no other qualities with the animal.
The advert then shows the heads of a fox and hyena edited onto Tiwari and Vaidya.
Netizens are furious with the way that Colors chose to promote the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Despite Arjun Bijlani being the one to shame his co-contestants, fans have defended him on the basis that he was simply following a script.
Instead, they are slamming the makers of the video for its controversial content.
One Twitter user retweeted the video and wrote:

Another said:
“There are other ways to entertain people.
“But if you want to entertain us by someone’s body-shaming then we don’t want your entertainment.”
“It’s a shame that @ColorsTV being such a big platform is tarnishing its own image by supporting body shaming.”
A third wrote: “Making fun of somebody’s profession not okay! Making fun of somebody’s body features not okay! Calling all this entertainment not okay!

The demands for an apology to Rahul Vaidya and Shweta Tiwari are trending on Twitter, and many are accusing Colors of tarnishing Arjun Bijlani’s reputation.
One user said: “Very shameful @ColorsTV!!
“Arjun is very capable of shining on his own, don’t ruin his reputation by giving him such scripts that hurts the feelings of all the audiences!
“APOLOGISE TO RAHUL VAIDYA.”
Another person tweeted:
“By paying him a hefty sum, you might’ve bound him by a contract @ColorsTV, but certainly we fans are not buying your b******t.
“For us, he means the world. Get the fact straight.”
One user even took to Twitter to call for Khatron Ke Khiladi to be axed altogether, saying:
“@ColorsTV Stop playing such a dirty trick.
“Eliminating strong and genuine players like @saurabhraajjain and keeping the people who are just good for drama.
“Stop this BIASED SHOW #KhatronKeKhiladi.”
