The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reportedly filed a case against actress Rhea Chakraborty and others after it was claimed Rhea was involved in drugs.
This revelation was made by the ED and the drug angle conspiracy has been doing the rounds on social media.
The actress has been accused of administrating drugs to the late Sushant Singh Rajput without his knowledge.
This comes after Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp conversations with her talent manager, Jaya Saha were retrieved by the ED.
A section of the WhatsApp chat which was exchanged on November 2019, read:
Rhea: “So glad you’ve sent this.”
Jaya: “Did it help at all?”
Rhea: “Yes calmed him down quite a bit.”
During its investigation, the ED found evidence for the drug conspiracy angle. Following this, the NCB launched its own investigation.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, NCB director, Rakesh Asthana revealed:
“We received a letter from ED on Tuesday evening, stating that during their probe into the financial aspects, they found that (a) drug was supplied to Rhea and Sushant.”
Now, conversations between the actress and Samuel Miranda have been accessed. It is being claimed, the actress was using the late actor’s funds.
According to Times Now, the Narcotics Control Bureau has alleged that Rhea was using Sushant’s funds for her own means.
Taking to Twitter, the news portal wrote:

In fact, the late actor’s family had been accusing Rhea of managing Sushant’s finances.
This pulled the actress into being questioned concerning money laundering after an FIR was filed against her.
However, this is something that Rhea Chakraborty has clearly denied on several occasions. She said:
“I was not in control of his finances.” She further added that she was not living off Sushant’s finances.
Speaking to ANI, Sushant’s father, KK Singh accused Rhea of murdering his son. He said:
“Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son, Sushant from a long time, she is his murderer. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates.”
Meanwhile, the actress recently shared a video of a large crowd which gathered outside her residence. She asked for police protection.
Currently, her brother, Showik Chakraborty is being interrogated at the CBI guest house for the second time.
