Mallika Sherawat shared a glimpse of her time at the White House after receiving an official invitation to the Christmas dinner event.
The actress shared snippets of the evening on Instagram, describing the experience as “surreal”, but her post has also sparked confusion online.
Looking glamorous in a shimmering dress, Mallika posted photographs and videos from the glamorous Christmas dinner, which was hosted by US President Donald Trump.
Sharing images from the event, she wrote:
“Being invited to the White House Christmas dinner feels completely surreal – Grateful.”
One photograph shows Mallika posing outside the White House in her pink ombré slip dress and white fur jacket.
She completed the look with a minimalist clutch, while her hair was styled in soft, natural waves.
Mallika also shared videos of Trump speaking at the event, along with images of the official invitation.
While many followers praised her appearance, others wondered how she received an invitation to the exclusive dinner.
One person wrote: “Congrats! How did you get invited? I’m curious.”
Another said: “Wow, you’re looking absolutely stunning in this dress! Keep shining bright.”
A third added: “Christmas in Trump style.”
For 2025, the White House Christmas dinner’s theme was “Home Is Where the Heart Is”, which focused on generosity, patriotism, and gratitude.

According to the White House, decorations included 75 wreaths, 51 Christmas trees, and more than 700 feet of garland.
The display also featured over 2,000 strands of lights, 25,000 feet of ribbon, and 2,800 gold stars. More than 10,000 butterflies and 120 pounds of gingerbread were also used.
It is reported that every detail was personally selected by US First Lady Melania Trump.
She said the decorations were designed to reflect the theme and honour “the heart of America.”
Mallika Sherawat has lived in the United States since 2009.
She has met Barack Obama on two occasions during his time in office. One occasion was in 2011 at a tea party in Los Angeles. Mallika later shared a heartfelt social media post about the encounter.
On the acting front, Mallika Sherawat was last seen in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and starred Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, and Vijay Raaz.
