A video circulated on X showing an interview with Mallika Sherawat.
In the clip, Mallika delved into a disturbing incident which she faced in Dubai.
The actress recalled: “I was shooting a big film in Dubai with a multi-star cast.
“It was a super-hit, and people love it. I played a comedic role in it.
“That film’s hero used to knock on my door at 12 am.
“When he knocked, I thought he would break down the door because he wanted to come inside my bedroom.
“I was like, ‘No, it is not going to happen’.
“After that, he never worked with me again!”
Although Mallika Sherawat did not name the film or the actor, the user who posted the clip stated that Akshay Kumar was the person she talked about.
The clip also suggested that Mallika was referring to Welcome (2007), where she played Ishika Kanojia.
Alongside the clip, the user wrote: “Shame on Akshay Kumar for sexually harassing Mallika Sherawat during the shooting of Welcome in Dubai.
“You are a sexually desperate actor. Raveena Tandon, you were always right.”

However, netizens were quick to point out that Mallika could not have been talking about Akshay.
The pair worked together in Thank You (2011), where Mallika appeared in a guest appearance.
One user said: “But Akshay worked with her in Thank You after Welcome. They shot a song together in that film.”
Another added: “A failed actress, after failing as an escort abroad is back in India looking for some attention and creating sensational sound bites.”
Other users blamed the incident on Nana Patekar.
One said: “It could be Nana Patekar. Besides, his name cropped up in #MeToo.”
Another person wrote: “She is not talking about Akshay. It is Nana Patekar, most probably.”
A third user said: “Nana was knocking on the door at night.”
In 2018, Tanushree Dutta claimed that Nana sexually harassed her on the sets of Ok Pleassss (2009).
This began a tidal wave of allegations against various men in Bollywood.
In 2024, Nana broke his silence on Tanushree’s accusations.
He stated: “I knew that it was all a lie. That’s why I didn’t get angry.
“When everything was a lie, why should I be angry? And all those things are old.”
“They have happened. What can we talk about them? Everyone knew the truth.
“What could I say at that time when nothing like this happened?
“Suddenly, someone says that you did this, you did that. What would I have answered to all these things?
“Should I have said that I didn’t do this? I know the truth that I didn’t do anything.”
