Laila Rouass ‘confirms’ Split with Ronnie O’Sullivan

In a sad yet empowering Instagram post, Laila Rouass appeared to confirm her break-up with Ronnie O’Sullivan.

"I feel so much better, stronger and sexier."

For a while, it was rumoured that Laila Rouass had broken up with her fiancee, Ronnie O’Sullivan.

The television personality started dating Ronnie in 2012. However, in September 2024, it was alleged that the couple had parted ways.

A friend claimed: “They have been going in different directions.

“Ronnie and Laila really threw themselves back into their relationship after the split a couple of years ago.

“He kept posting pics of them online at home together and saying romantic things on special occasions, but that’s all come to a halt.

“They’ve tried so hard, but they just can’t make it work.”

In December 2024, Laila Rouass appeared to confirm the ending of her relationship with Ronnie.

In an Instagram post, she stressed the importance of recovering from break-ups.

She wrote: “Break ups can strip you down to your essence.

“I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control because no matter what, we will lose parts of ourselves in relationships.

“It’s normal – don’t beat yourself up.

“One thing I’m conscious of not doing is trying to get back to what I was. No, I’m discovering who I’ve become.

“I’ve gone through various emotions…hurt, pain, anger.

“But what I’ve realised about anger is that it’s bottomless. It can go on and on, and once you’re in that black hole.

“It’s very hard to drag yourself back out.

“Anyone going through a break up – I want to tell you that you will come out the other side.

“I have, and I feel so much better, stronger and sexier. Life has a funny way of throwing in a plot twist here and there.

“I’ve even met an Arab Viking…like…how did that happen? Do they exist even?

“Just roll with the punches because life is so much richer, so much fuller when you drop the anger, the resentment and the regret.

“I’m looking back at my last relationship with a smile and wave because time moves on ,and I don’t like to play catch up.”

Laila Rouass 'confirms' Split with Ronnie O'Sullivan - 1Laila recently gained recognition for portraying Ayesha Siddhu in EastEnders.

Ayesha was introduced as the friend of Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal). Her husband had been killed by Suki’s ex-husband, Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry).

Ayesha admitted to Suki that she was lesbian and encouraged Suki to propose to her partner, Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).

EastEnders is currently gearing up for Suki and Eve’s wedding, which is due to happen on New Year’s Day 2025.

Teasing the dramatic episodes, Balvinder said: “I think this has been a long time coming.

“I think that Suki can’t believe that she’s finally allowed to, or rather has allowed herself, to invite a little bit of happiness in that is going to change the rest of her life.

“It’s quite a pivotal moment in Suki’s psyche, as she’s given in to happiness, which hasn’t really happened before for her character, but in true soap style, nothing goes smoothly.

“Nish isn’t somebody to let things lie, and if he gets wind of it, there is always the danger of him getting involved somehow and just destroying any bit of happiness that Suki has.

“Not just her, the whole family, as this is a really lovely moment for everyone involved, and Nish has the potential to totally rip that from under her feet.

“Everyone is bracing themselves as Nish has a vendetta.

“Suki knows Nish too well, and I think she may have led herself to believe that this was the last of him.”

“But I don’t think she is entirely surprised that he has broken out.

“What has surprised her is the length that he has gone to show his face again.

“I also think she’s a lot stronger now, which is why she makes the decision to continue.

“You can expect beauty in every sense of the word. High, intense drama, I mean, that was three words within itself.

“And edge of your seat drama.”
