"at one point all of it just felt so unreal.”
On an upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan, Katrina Kaif revealed that her now-husband Vicky Kaushal was never on her “radar”.
Katrina will appear on the show with her Phone Bhoot co-stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddharth Chaturvedi.
The actress married Vicky in December 2021 but she admitted that she did not know much about him.
She said: “I did not even know much about him.
“He was just a name I had heard but had never associated with. But then, when I met him, I was won over.”
Katrina revealed that Zoya Akhtar was the first person she told that she was smitten by Vicky Kaushal.
Reportedly, Katrina and Vicky fell for each other at a party hosted by the director.
Calling their relationship “unexpected and out of the blue”, Katrina went on to say:
“It was my destiny and it was really meant to be. There were so many coincidences that at one point all of it just felt so unreal.”
In a promo video, Karan Johar asked Katrina about Alia Bhatt’s “no suhaagraat” comment.
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress had said:
“There is no such thing as suhaagraat (wedding night). You are tired.”
Katrina replied: “Maybe it can be suhaag-din (wedding day).”
Katrina was also asked about the Instagram account she visits for a ‘thirst trap’. The actress admitted that she visits Ranveer Singh’s page.
Later in the promo, Karan also asked Siddhant Chaturvedi about his relationship status with the actor mentioning that he is so single that even Ishaan Khatter has become single after spending time with him.
Ishaan was dating Ananya Panday but the two parted ways earlier in 2022.
On the work front, Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Phone Bhoot. The film is set to be released on November 4, 2022.
She will also be a part of Merry Christmas along with Vijay Sethupathi.
Katrina has been filming the third instalment of Tiger, along with Salman Khan. The action film is slated to release on April 23, 2023.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal also has several projects in the pipeline, including Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur.
The film is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
Sam Bahadur will also star Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Vicky will also be seen opposite Sara Ali Khan in Laxman Utekar’s untitled project.
