Gunah, directed by Adnan Sarwar, is the latest offering from the drama industry, with the promise of a gripping storyline, excellent direction and praiseworthy performances by just some of the biggest names in the industry.

The story revolves around the character of Gul Noor, (Juggun Kazim), who has supposedly run away with her children’s tuition teacher, Ahmed, (Ali Raza).

The latter’s mother refuses to believe this and wishes to report her son missing.

The story develops as the pair are shown to be missing for a total of fifteen days, with no sight nor sound of them.

The narrative is captivating from the get-go and viewers are taken into a world of flashbacks to piece together the mystery of what has happened to Gul Noor and Ahmed, enthralling the viewer deeper into an ominous conundrum.

Episode by mini-episode, the storyline promises to keep viewers guessing what will happen next and what Malik Hayat, Gul Noor’s husband, (Sarmad Khoosat), decides to do next to find his wife.

Peeling back the many layers of each character, viewers may find themselves connecting to them and understanding the motives behind their actions.

The Pakistani drama is deemed to be exciting, and with a powerhouse like Saba Qamar gracing us with her presence in this mini-series, portraying the role of Gul Meher, it is sure to be a blockbuster.

Although the storyline is a seasoned one in terms of love, desire, and yearning for something out of your reach, Gunah promises to be invigorating and intriguing for its thriller theme and delivery.

The cast of the drama is talented within their rights.

They each bring a sprinkle of excellence to their roles from the very first episode and hopefully right to the very last.

Although one episode in, the series has been compared to the likes of web series on Netflix and Amazon, giving appreciation to the production quality and cinematography.

Director Adnan Sarwar is set to make a small cameo in the Pakistani drama as SHO Saleem.

Gunah will be aired on Express TV every Thursday and then uploaded onto its YouTube channel.
