With India in lockdown till May 3, 2020, at least, various Bollywood celebrities have been taking to Instagram to share their dance videos.

Recently, Jennifer Lopez’s dance challenge has been doing the round on social media.

The challenge involves recreating your favourite part of her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance which was held in February 2020.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show is an American football game tradition. The show provides entertainment during the Super Bowl which is an annual championship game.

In February 2020, Jennifer Lopez was joined by Columbian singer and dancer Shakira as they ignited the stage with their sizzling dance moves and amazing vocals.

Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra took up the challenge on Instagram. In the video, she can be seen grooving to the music in a crop top and matching black shorts. She captioned it:

“Hehe did the #jlosuperbowlchallenge #quarantinemademedoit also, nominees are tagged. Choreography by @parrisgoebel.”

Joining Sanya Malhotra was Indian actress Mithila Palkar who is known for her roles in Netflix’s Little Things and the TV series Girl in the City.

In the Instagram video, Mithila is seen grooving to the music in grey leggings and a crop top in the comfort of her home. She captioned it:

“Dared to do the #jlosuperbowlchallenge! Growing up, I always learnt dance by watching videos on YouTube.

“I watched them a few million times until I could fairly emulate the steps and until @swaradance came into my life to actually teach me!”

“Last evening, after many years, I spent time learning this choreography on YouTube. It felt so rejuvenating! @parrisgoebel X @jlo.”

Indian actress Sandeepa Dhar made her acting debut in 2010 with the film Isi Life Mein. She also made a cameo appearance in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 (2012).

Taking to Instagram, the actress showed off her amazing dancing ability. She captioned it:

“So, came across the #jlosuperbowlchallenge. Can’t believe @jlo did this in heels while I barely managed to do it in sneakers.

“Learning choreography via a video clip, pausing, slowing it down took me back to my school days coz back then that’s how I used to copy & learn dance styles.

“For all u dance lovers, try it at home & share ur versions with me coz sharing is fun. Choreography by @parrisgoebel #stayhomeanddance.”

You do not have to be a star to join in with the fun. Learn the routine, upload a video of your dance and keep yourself active during the lockdown.
