Hareem Shah has indicated that she would be open to going into politics.
The TikToker stated that she will increase foreign reserves to $100 billion if she is made Pakistan’s caretaker foreign minister.
Hareem made the bold statement on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Posting a picture of herself in front of various flags, Hareem wrote:
“If I am made the caretaker foreign minister of Pakistan for just six months, I will increase the foreign reserves of Pakistan from $8 billion to $100 billion dollars.”

Many social media users were unconvinced by Hareem’s claims, with one person writing:
“How??? What are your qualifications.”
However, some believed Hareem could be a suitable candidate.
One person wrote: “You have all the guts! Surely you can.”
Another said: “I trust you more than army generals, at least you own what you do whether bad or good.”
After a nine-month hiatus ended in July 2023, the central bank held reserves surpassed the $8 billion mark after Pakistan received finances from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the total liquid foreign reserves held by Pakistan stood at $14.06 billion for the week that ended on July 14.
Hareem Shah’s statement came after the dissolution of the National Assembly and the appointment of Senator Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar as the caretaker prime minister.
He was appointed after a consensus was reached between the outgoing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition Raja Riaz, following which President Dr Arif Alvi signed the advice sent by them.
Senator Kakar is currently the chairman of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), and he is widely regarded as an intellectual.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and Sociology, and he is an alumnus of the University of Balochistan.
Hareem Shah has been associated with many political figures, however, she has threatened to expose their alleged scandals.
In June 2023, Hareem issued a threat to former PTI member Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan, claiming that he spent public money to pay for the services of high-end sex workers.
Hareem took to Twitter to state that she has been covering up for Chohan for a while.
But she said she would leak his videos if he ever named her directly or indirectly.
Calling him a “dirty man”, Hareem captioned the video:
“I will tell his wife and family about his origin. When he was a minister, he hired the famous ‘call girls’. People’s money was spent on these services.”
