"Jhoome Jo Pathaan is an ode to the spirit of Pathaan"
A still from an upcoming song from Pathaan, called ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ went viral on social media on December 20, 2022.
The makers are yet to release the song but a still from it has been shared by a verified fan page of Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter.
The poster features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone leaning against a bright yellow car and their swag is off the charts.
Shah Rukh Khan is seen dressed in a white shirt while Deepika Padukone is seen in a pair of shorts with a quirky top.
‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ will be the second song to release from the film after the hit ‘Besharam Rang’.
The caption on the tweet shared by the fan page read: “Jhoome Jo Pathaan is a modern fusion Qawaali and celebrates Pathaan‘s style and panache.
“It has been a while since we have seen SRK grove to the music and we are hoping that people will love seeing their favourite superstar shake a leg with an attitude to kill for.”
In an interview, director Siddharth Anand said:
“Jhoome Jo Pathaan is an ode to the spirit of Pathaan, played by the inimitable Shah Rukh Khan.
“The song embodies the personality traits of this super spy Pathaan who has an irresistible swagger that is infectious.
“His energy, his vibe, his confidence can make anyone dance to tunes.”
The first track from the film titled ‘Besharam Rang’ was released on December 12, 2022.

Sharing it, Shah Rukh Khan wrote: “Seeing her, you know… Beauty is an attitude… Besharam Rang song is here.
“Celebrate Pathaan with YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January, 2023…”
Since the release of the song, the music video has received backlash for Deepika’s outfit and the lyrics themselves.
Many, including politicians, have called for the song to be banned.
Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of 2023.
The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
The film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on January 25, 2023.
Meanwhile, Pathaan is Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s fourth film together.
They have previously worked together on films including Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year.
Pathaan marks their reunion after eight years.
