"It's time to put a stop to this!"
Feroze Khan has responded to the domestic violence claims made by his ex-wife Syeda Aliza Sultan.
The pair married in 2018 but in September 2022, they divorced.
In her statement, Aliza claimed that their marriage was filled with emotional and physical abuse as well as infidelity.
She said the mental and physical well-being of her and her children are the reason for divorce.
It was reported that Aliza submitted her medico-legal reports and pictures before the court during domestic legal proceedings.
She shared pictures of bruise marks on her arms and one side of her face.
The images went viral and it led to celebrities offering their support for Aliza.
Mariyam Nafees was among the first celebrities to show her support for Aliza. She wrote:
“I’m sorry people attacked you when you spoke your truth. I’m sorry that people knowingly stayed quiet.
“So sorry you had to go through this Aliza Sultan Khan. Stay strong, we’re with you! Allah is with you.”
Sharing a photo of her hospital documents, Mariyam asked why “do we raise voice only when they’re dead? Why do we blame them when they manage to escape?”
• I’m sorry people attacked you when you spoke your truth.

Actor Osman Khalid Butt hoped and prayed for Aliza to get the justice she deserves.
In another tweet, he shared the MLO report that Sultan presented as evidence stating “blunt injuries on both arms, back, chest and face”.
He added: “I know we’re an incredibly desensitised society but read that again. Let it sink in.”
Mansha Pasha wrote: “There is no excuse, no fandom, no friendship and no idolisation so important that it allows us to ignore violence and/or make excuses.
“It’s time to put a stop to this! We won’t sit by and wait for more Noor Mukadam, more Sara Amirs just for the sake of not troubling the waters.
“We need to speak up as and when we can when we see someone has suffered in this way regardless of who that person is — friendship, colleague, fandom shouldn’t matter.
“Only then can we honestly speak about all the other ills with sincerity as well cuz we spoke up too when it was closer to home!”
Feroze Khan has now broken his silence on the allegations, calling them “baseless”.
He said: “I, Feroze Khan vehemently deny any and baseless, malicious and untruthful allegations which have been levelled against me and are circulating on the social media rumour mill.
“These allegations have no basis in truth or reality.”
“I fully intend to institute legal proceedings against the perpetrators of these actions and I have instructed my legal team accordingly.
“I would categorically like to state that I have always followed the law in its true letter and spirit, and have never knowingly hurt another human being.
“I very strongly believe in all human rights of every human inhabiting planet earth.”
