"I've been subjected to all sorts of lies and fabricated stories"
Sana Javed has broken her silence on her alleged unprofessional behaviour.
Allegations against her were made by a number of Pakistani models, detailing their “horrible” experience of working alongside her.
It all began when Manal Saleem put up an Instagram Story to complain about an “entitled” celebrity.
She wrote: “Requesting all clients to not ask me to shoot with any actress or celebrity ever again.
“With their self-entitled attitudes, they think we are ‘dou takay ki model’.
“The audacity to say that on my face! We also come to work, not to get disrespected for free.”
While Manal refrained from naming anyone, she gave a thumbs up to speculations about the person in question.
This prompted several other models to accuse Sana of being unprofessional and having a bad attitude when working alongside them.
The actress has now broken her silence, revealing that she has sent a legal notice to Manal, accusing her of public defamation.
Sana Javed claimed the misbehaviour allegations were “lies” in a lengthy note.
She wrote: “In the past 72 hours I’ve been subjected to all sorts of lies and fabricated stories, bullying, hate speech and threats.
“A properly planned smear campaign has been initiated against me by a group of individuals, that has caused severe trauma not only to me but to my family.
“I’m shocked to see how toxic people can be and how quickly everyone jumps on a bandwagon without knowing all the facts.
“As far as the incident is concerned everyone knows one side of the story and I refuse to comment and discuss what was said and done by the other party as it is beyond disgusting and disgraceful to even mention here.”
Sana went on to say that she is taking legal action. She continued:
“I’ve decided to take this matter forward with the legal authorities.”
“I love my work and hold it in the highest regards and throughout my career, I’ve tried my best to hold my ground and my integrity by giving utmost respect to my colleagues and peers and expected the same in return.”

Hoping that “truth will prevail”, Sana added:
“Saying that, now this matter is with the legal authorities and I will be pursuing all legal options against this group of people.
“I would like to thank my friends and fans who stood by me and did not believe in such fabricated stories.
“You are my strength and we will see this through. May the truth prevail. Aameen.”
