"From entry to exit, it was chaos."
Fans were not happy with Diljit Dosanjh after he turned up late to his concert.
Enthusiasts eagerly lined up to catch Diljit Dosanjh at his Delhi concert as part of his Dil-Luminati tour.
The singer was all set to perform at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 26, 2024, in front of 60,000 excited fans.
It was his first show of the India leg of his tour.
However, the concert did not start on time, which left fans annoyed as they were stuck in the crowded stadium.
Diljit’s show was set to start at 7 pm, but fans were left restless in the heat, with no sign of the show starting as all the lights were off.
It eventually started almost an hour late at around 7:50 pm.
On social media, concertgoers vented their frustration.
One fan said: “I attended Diljit’s concert, and while his performance was fire, the management was a complete fail.
“From entry to exit, it was chaos. In a time when delivering great experiences is key, this falls way short.”
Another said: “The worst concert I’ve ever been to, a girl near me passed out and none of the staff even came to help her.”
Some fans even found themselves stranded outside the building and unable to enter because their tickets were invalid.
They were denied entry despite pleading with the organisers, leaving them furious and heartbroken.
One fan who had been scammed said: “It was a total waste of time to come here.
“I came here without a ticket and met someone who sold me a fake one. They charged me a lot of money for it.”
Although fans had been warned not to buy tickets from anywhere other than the official seller, ZomatoLive, there were still many incidents reported of ticket reselling.
The traffic was also reported to have been awful, with several long traffic jams and people having to leave their cars and walk to the venue.
Despite the poor experience, many fans still shared their good reviews for the concert.
One said: “What a show, what fun, what craze. The crowd was crazy. Best night of my life.”
Another said: “Diljit shut down Delhi! What a roaring performance!”
Diljit has been on a world tour and is bringing his Dil-Luminati experience to India.
After his second Delhi show on October 27, his tour will make its way to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh and Guwahati.
