“Do you get high before giving such statements?”
Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has stunned the internet with a revelation about her personal practices, sharing that she strictly observes Pardah.
She clarified that while viewers see her on shows without a veil, she never appears in front of anyone without it.
This includes her brother, brother-in-law, electricians, or plumbers.
Dr Nabiha explained: “This is just the camera where people see me like this. In real life, I always go in pardah.”
Her comments left the public bewildered, as her media presence often shows her confidently without traditional covering.
Social media reactions were swift, with one user writing: “Those plumbers will see you without pardah on the internet.”
One questioned: “Do you get high before giving such statements?”
Another said: “She observes Pardah when she is not wearing makeup. As soon as makeup is on, all is fine.”
This disclosure follows an earlier interview with Naeem Hanif, where Dr Nabiha explained why she stopped wearing a dupatta, which had once been an integral part of her attire.
She recalled a traumatic incident that influenced her decision, saying:
“One day, a boy on a bike grabbed my dupatta from behind and pulled it.
“I was all alone, standing on the road without a dupatta. I was shocked.
“I looked back and slapped him, and two of his teeth broke — his mouth was bleeding. He called the police.
“Do you know breaking someone’s teeth is a punishable act?
“Yes, one thing I did at that time was recite ‘Ya Ali Madad,’ and it gave me strength.”
Dr Nabiha, who comes from conservative families with Pakhtoon and Syed backgrounds, shared that her relatives have always maintained a private and modest life.
She explained that her public presence was motivated by financial burdens following her father’s passing.
This pushed her to enter media work despite her upbringing.

In recent conversations, she also revealed the emotional toll social scrutiny took on her following her widely publicised Nikkah ceremony.
She recently married her longtime friend Haris Khokhar, and her Nikkah was officiated by Maulana Tariq Jamil.
Tearing up, Dr Nabiha revealed: “The period after my wedding was the most difficult of my life.
“The criticism became so overwhelming that I even considered parting ways with my husband.”
Dr Nabiha Ali Khan shared that what should have been joyful moments turned into a time of deep regret due to relentless online scrutiny.
She emphasised that only she truly understands the weight of the criticism, noting how deeply it affected her mental health and daily life.
The couple’s wedding went viral after they disclosed details about the bride’s jewellery and outfit costs, sparking intense public debate.
