Dalljiet Kaur accused her estranged husband Nikhil Patel of cheating.
She took to her Instagram Story to reveal the accusation.
Sharing a picture of Nikhil at the gym, Dalljiet wrote: “You are out on social media with her now everyday shamelessly.
“Your wife and son came back 10 months after the wedding.
“The entire family is humiliated. Some dignity for the kids would have been good!
“At least you should have left your wife little dignity publicly, as I was quiet about a lot of other things too.”
Furthermore, Dalljiet highlighted the initials “SN”, appearing to highlight the identity of the woman with whom Nikhil was allegedly cheating on her.
Prior to this post, Dalljiet Kaur posted a poll on her Instagram Story and asked her followers who they felt was to blame for alleged extramarital affairs.
The options were the girl, the husband, or the wife.
Dalljiet’s first marriage was to Shalin Bhanot in 2009. In 2014, they had a son named Jaydon.
In 2015, Dalljiet filed for divorce, accusing Shalin of domestic violence.
On March 18, 2023, the actress married Nikhil in a beautiful ceremony in Mumbai.
At the time, Dalljiet delved into the connection she and Jaydon shared with Nikhil.
She explained: “When [Jaydon] met Nik for the first time a couple of months ago, he addressed him as ‘papa’ on his own.
“I just froze thinking, ‘What will Nik think?’ as we hadn’t decided on marriage back then.
“Nik, without even batting an eyelid, started playing with him.
“That day when Jaydon met him, we just knew that we wanted to be together.”
Shalin gave his blessings to his ex-wife’s new relationship.
He said: “I am very happy for her. May God bless her and give her all the happiness she deserves.
“It’s normal for people to move on, and they should give life another chance.
“Some adjustments need to be made, and that’s okay.”
Sharing a picture on Instagram of the wedding, Dalljiet wrote:
“The stars aligned and fate played a part in bringing our hearts and souls together.
“Our journey to forever starts now. A new life, a new country (Kenya), a new beginning. Together.”
However, cracks in the marriage began to appear shortly afterwards.
Dalljiet and Nikhil notably unfollowed each other on Instagram.
On the work front, Dalljiet Kaur was last seen in Sasural Genda Phool 2 (2021–2022), where she played Dr Avni Sehgal.
