"full festive range guaranteed to spark joy"

As twinkling lights adorn our high streets, the UK’s favourite fast food chains have once again embraced the festive spirit with their Christmas menus.

This year sees a sleigh-full of yuletide treats, from savoury delights packed with all the trimmings to sweet, spice-laden indulgences.

For many, these limited-edition items have become as much a part of the seasonal tradition as mince pies and mulled wine.

These festive menus feature both returning favourites and intriguing new creations, all designed to offer a taste of Christmas on the go.

Here are some of your favourite fast food chains and the Christmas items on offer.

Claiming that festive food might be the “best part of this time of year”, Domino’s unveiled a “full festive range guaranteed to spark joy”.

The pizza giant encourages customers to “skip the kitchen chaos and ditch the oven gloves”.

The star of its menu is The Festive One Pizza, returning for its fifth consecutive year.

This pizza features pulled turkey breast marinated in sage and onion, Cumberland sausage, and smoked bacon.

These toppings are complemented by red onion, mozzarella, and a final drizzle of cranberry sauce, encapsulating the essence of a Christmas dinner.

For dessert, Domino’s introduces Mince Pie Cookies, a “dream dough” packed with currants, sultanas, orange peel, and festive spices.

This substantial burger features two crispy Original Recipe Chicken fillets, a sage and onion patty, spicy cranberry sauce, cheese, lettuce, and burger dressing, all housed in a brioche bun.

For those with a slightly smaller appetite, the Stuffing Tower Burger is also making a comeback from £7.49, including a single chicken fillet alongside the same festive toppings.

Greggs

Is it truly Christmas without a Festive Bake?

The popular pasty, once dubbed a “rapturous riot of flavour” by Nigella Lawson, is on offer for £2.10.

Greggs proudly brands its creation “the most Christmassy thing about Christmas”, thanks to its combination of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, sweetcure bacon, and a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.

A vegan-friendly version is also available.

Also on the menu is the Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette for £3.95, which is packed with onion gravy and described by the chain as “basically Christmas dinner that can be held in one hand”.

A new addition for 2025 is the Christmas flatbread, which contains chicken mayo, bacon, cranberry, and red onion relish.

Starbucks

For Christmas 2025, Starbucks has expanded its festive drink line-up with some intriguing new options.

The Toffee Nut Matcha Latte combines pure matcha green tea with steamed milk and toffee nut flavour syrup, finished with whipped cream and toffee nut sprinkles.

Similarly, the new Gingerbread Matcha Latte blends matcha with gingerbread syrup, topped with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.

These join returning favourites like the Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte, and Eggnog Latte.

On the food front, the new Festive Toastie is a standout, filled with sliced chicken breast, herby sage and onion stuffing, rich gravy, maple-cured bacon, cranberry sauce, and Cheddar cheese.

Subway

This Christmas, Subway is introducing a new festive stuffing-topped bread to its line-up.

This sage and onion stuffing-topped Italian white bread is available for any sub choice.

It forms the base of the new Ultimate Festive Sub, which is loaded with rotisserie-style chicken, bacon, sage and onion stuffing, American-style cheese, and cranberry sauce.

For spud lovers, all these festive toppings are also available on a jacket potato.

Additionally, the chain has launched the Turkey and Stuffing Footlong Dipper, a tortilla wrap filled with turkey, stuffing, and melted cheese, paired with a cranberry sauce dip.

Finish off your sandwich with the Double Chocolate Orange Cookies.

Nando’s

After a three-year break from the festive scene, Nando’s has made a triumphant return, declaring its new menu is “an absolute cracker…that’s no lie”.

The peri-peri specialists are back with three new items, available until January 5, that they say are “good enough to make you wish it could be Christmas everyday”.

The headline act is The Total Sleigh burger, the chain’s biggest burger to date. It features a chicken breast with melted cheese, two Bubble and Squeak Croquettes, caramelised onions, lettuce, and Churrasco PERinaise in a rustic roll, served with a side of PERi-Chicken Gravy for dipping.

The accompanying croquettes consist of shredded Brussels sprouts, mash, and red onion, served with a Caesar dressing.

To finish, a Warm Chocolate Orange Brownie offers a fudgy, festive dessert served with vanilla gelato when dining in.

McDonald’s

For 2025, McDonald’s has launched a new menu in collaboration with Dr Seuss’ The Grinch.

The festive lineup introduces The Grinch Meal, which includes a choice of a Big Mac, Chicken McNuggets, or McPlant, served with new dill pickle-flavoured Grinched McShaker Fries.

A key new savoury item is the Cheesy Chicken Stack, featuring a chicken fillet, a large cheese melt, a cheese slice, lettuce, and chipotle salsa.

Fan favourites also return, including the popular Cheese Melt Dippers and the Big Tasty, which, for the first time, is available as a single or double patty, with the option to add bacon.

The dessert menu sees the arrival of the Grumble Pie, filled with apple, cranberry and custard, alongside two new McFlurries: the Mischief McFlurry with Smarties and strawberry sauce, and a Chocolate Brownie version.

The annual rollout of festive menus from fast food giants offers a convenient and accessible way to enjoy the flavours of the season.

From entire Christmas dinners reimagined in baguette form to creative, spice-infused drinks and desserts, there is a clear effort to capture the culinary magic of the holidays.

Whether you’re a loyal fan of a returning favourite or eager to try a brand-new creation, this year’s offerings provide plenty of opportunities to indulge in a quick and festive treat.
