Asim Azhar’s long-awaited album Asim Ali has finally been released, offering fans his first fully independent musical project.

The album features ten tracks, including ‘Asim Ali’, ‘Khabbay Sajjay’, ‘Na Ja’, ‘Changes’, ‘Lost n Found’, ‘Sugar Rush’, ‘Jind Mahi’, ‘Pari’, ‘U Got This’ and ‘Strangers.’

Hours before the release, Azhar shared a video of himself playing the songs for his mother, explaining that this is a ritual he follows for every project.

He admitted: “This album has songs that were written in my most vulnerable & honest state.

“I never thought you guys would get to listen to them.”

Announcing the album on October 29, 2025, which is also his birthday, Azhar said the title reflects his own identity and creative authenticity.

Azhar revealed that the night before the album dropped, he was unable to sleep or focus, consumed by both nerves and excitement.

Fans have responded positively, praising the album’s honesty and emotional depth, with many saying they feel personally connected to the lyrics.

The track ‘Strangers’, featuring rapper Talha Anjum, quickly emerged as a fan favourite.

It blends Asim Azhar’s melodic pop style with Talha Anjum’s sharp rap verses seamlessly.

Listeners have labelled Azhar as “the Taylor Swift of Pakistan,” appreciating how he transforms personal experiences into songs that resonate broadly with his audience.

Asim Ali marks Azhar’s first independent album after years of singles and collaborations under major labels, signalling a creative and personal liberation.

The album perfectly balances upbeat pop tracks with intimate ballads.

Songs like ‘Sugar Rush’ and ‘Na Ja’ showcase his energetic side, while ‘Lost n Found’ and ‘Jind Mahi’ reveal his emotional vulnerability.

Fans of previous OSTs, including ’Tere Bin Nahi Lagda’ and ‘Meri Zindagi Hai Tu’, have praised Azhar for maintaining relatability while exploring new musical directions.

Azhar has emphasised that Asim Ali represents the most unfiltered version of himself, giving listeners a closer connection to his life and creative process.

Through this album, he continues his mission of blending personal storytelling with accessible pop sounds, reaffirming his position as one of Pakistan’s leading contemporary musicians.

The album is now available on all major streaming platforms, offering listeners a mix of nostalgia, modern arrangements, and heartfelt storytelling.

Fans are already reacting online, sharing favourite tracks and celebrating Asim Azhar’s ability to merge vulnerability with pop craftsmanship.
