Bollywood Stars light up Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018

Bollywood stars walked the ramp showcasing outfits from the stunning collections of various fashion designers at the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2018.

The Bombay Times Fashion Week (BTFW) which took place from October 12 to October 14, 2018, at the St. Regis Hotel, Mumbai, India, saw Bollywood stars to descend and light up the ramp.

The fashion show grabbed eyeballs as the star wore some extravagant and delightful outfits.

It was not just Bollywood that appeared on the ramp either, Punjabi music star, Guru Randhawa, also appeared on the ramp for the very first time joining Urvashi Rautela.

Indian fashion designers such as Reemly, Ashwini Reddy, Neeta Lulla, Versha Sethi and many others showcased their amazing collections.

The Bollywood star that made a huge impact was Sushmita Sen. She first wore a flowy mint green silk outfit for designers Bhumika and Jyoti earlier at the BTFW event, which wowed audiences.

Then for the final day, the ex-Miss India Universe wore a gorgeous ivory gown which was off the shoulders, designed by Neeta Lulla, which made audiences gasp with delight.

The 42-year-old then tweeted about her wonderful BTFW experience on the ramp saying:

“The Universe always conspires in our favour” #showstopper for @neeta_lulla at the #grandfinale #BTFW2018 #stregis #Mumbai with @ManasiScott LIVE!!! Ufffff. I love you guys!!! Dugga Dugga!!”

In addition to the finale, Sen also appeared on the catwalk for FDCI Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week 2018.

Others to take the BTFW show by storm were Bollywood stars like Disha Patani, Soha Ali Khan, Urvashi Rautela and Kalki Koechlin.

Disha Patani wore a stunning melon pink bridal lehenga for designer Kalki from her latest wedding collection called ‘ATHENA’ which is a fusion between the strong crafts and colours of India mixed with an urban, modern and edgy elements of Greek-Morocco.

This signature piece lehenga with embroideries which were layered in vintage English colours embellished with gold metallic threads and resham, oozed an appeal of floral beautification inspired by Morrocon roots.

Disha was an eclectic vision, captivating the style of the lush and artful outfit.

Soha Ali Khan graced the ramp wearing a wonderful lightly toned lehenga which was designed by Pallavi Goyal.

Actress and model Yami Gautam wore a lovely and modern sari in multi-colours by Arpita Mehta for Gehna Jewellers.

Supermodel and actress Urvashi Rautela walked the ramp for looked Zarf Lifestyle, wearing their elegant and stylish designs.

Guru Randhawa and Urvashi Rautela walked together with it being a debut duet walk for Urvashi and the very first time on the catwalk for Guru, who both immensely enjoyed the experience for designer Neeru Dutta at Bombay Times Fashion Week.

After his appearance, Randhawa said:

“This was my first walk and thanks to Neeru Dutta for calling me and giving me this opportunity and I loved it!”

Urvashi said: “She [Neeru Dutta] has an amazing collection and with the crowds cheering so loudly it was amazing! It was a great vibe and I really enjoyed it.”

A rock chic collection designed by Delna Poonawalla was showcased on the ramp by actress Kalki Koechlin.

Music director Anu Malik’s daughter Ada Malik presented her designs on the ramp worn by former-actress Divya Khosla Kumar.

Miss Diva Universe 2018, Nehal Chudasama was a showstopper on the ramp wearing a sleeve detailed gown designed by Ashfaque Ahmad.

TV and film actress Radhika Madan wore a lovely red black choli and lehenga with gold embellishments on the ramp.

Rhea Chakraborty, an actress wore a lovely brown traditional sharrara outfit with a parandi on the ramp looking glorious.

The event featured many other stars wearing designs which looked incredible and pleasing on the eye.

The Bombay Time Fashion Week 2018 certainly captured the hearts of the audience and onlookers with the breathtaking designs presented at the three-day event and of course the celebrity stars on the ramp made the show a very unique one.
