Ayesha Omar mourns Loss of 1st Friend

Ayesha Omar posted a moving tribute on Instagram following the death of her friend Natasha Saigol.

The actress shared a few pictures with Natasha, including one from their childhood.

In the lengthy caption, Ayesha wrote:

“Rest in eternal peace my beautiful Natasha, my first friend in this world.

“May you fly high among rainbows in the next world, and the next.

“I clearly remember the day we completed our first ever mural at your mum’s Chip n dale, must’ve been 8 or 9 and then our next one at Farida Aunty’s years later.

“So, of course, I trusted you with my first ever hair colour, a flaming pink and plum, much to my mum’s dismay.

“The sing-along sessions on your stairs, which were taken extremely seriously, and were nothing less than stage performances, and the endless giggle fits in assembly every day (since we were the shortest and had to stand in ascending order together), are etched in my mind forever.

“As you return to your creator, I am nothing but grateful for having been able to create these beautiful moments with you, sprinkled with fairy dust, that have helped shape my own journey.

“They will always ‘fill up my senses’ whenever I need them to, ‘like the mountains in springtime, like a walk in the rain’.

Social media users took to the comments section to offer their condolences.

Another said: “I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember her smiling face. I had the chance to work with her, may her soul rest in eternal peace.”

Natasha was a Lahore-based hair stylist and news of her death was shared on social media along with the caption:

“Top beauty expert Natasha Saigol passes away. The news was shared by her family members.”

Condolences were left under the post and many spoke of their memories with Natasha.

One individual wrote: “She was such a nice person, I remember going to her salon as a teen and she would always let me play with her cat and guinea pig.”

Tributes were left on Facebook after her brother Taimur informed loved ones of prayer arrangements, in which one individual wrote:

“We now have an angel we can all call by name, Natasha Saigol.

“I will always remember you as a bright bolt of light with that beaming smile and the sparkle in your eyes.

“A pleasure to have had you on my team through thick and thin. Gone too soon Natasha, rest in peace my darling friend.”

Another individual wrote: “So sorry for your loss Taimur, may Allah bless her with Jannah [heaven], and give patience to your family in this difficult time.”

Natasha was described as an authentic and genuine person who was loved by all those who had the pleasure of meeting her.

Ayesha Omar is a model and actress who is well known for playing Khoobsurat in the comedy sitcom Bulbulay.

She has worked with talented actors such as Mehmood Aslam, Javed Sheikh, Nabeel, Bushra Ansari and Sana Askari.
