Akshay Kumar was recently seen on an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show alongside Katrina Kaif.
During their visit, host Kapil Sharma tested the actress’ knowledge about utensils used in traditional Indian kitchens.
Akshay and Katrina appeared on a recent episode of the popular comedy show to promote their recently released action-drama film Sooryavanshi.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi was released on November 5, 2021.
Ahead of the episode’s premiere, an ‘uncensored’ video was released in which Katrina Kaif can be seen guessing the names and the purpose of various utensils.
As a make-shift kitchen set-up was shown, Kapil Sharma said:
“Akshay sir, I wanted to tell you something.
“Did you know that Katrina did a lot of work during the lockdown?
“She was busy in the kitchen cooking, she was cleaning the house.
“Today we take your test. I have called for a few things.”
The host proceeded to take one utensil at a time and asked Katrina for the name and the purpose of it.
These included a lade, grater, tongs and strainer amongst many others.
Katrina Kaif managed to guess most of them right.
Kapil said: “She knows everything.”
To which Akshay replied: “Now she’s ready, for marriage.”
Akshay’s comment left Kapil and Archana Puran Singh in splits.

Archana applauded Katrina’s efforts and said:
“Well done Katrina.”
Rumours of Katrina’s wedding have been circulating for weeks.
The actress is reportedly engaged to actor Vicky Kaushal and will wed in December 2021.
Reports have also surfaced that the wedding venue has been fixed.
The pair have also been linked to designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee and rumours have been circulating that the designer will be in charge of the couple’s wedding attire.
However, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are yet to address these rumours.
Ever since the rumours of the couple’s relationship started circulating, Katrina and Vicky have been tightlipped about it.
In the episode, Katrina also found out that Akshay co-produced their recent release.
When Akshay Kumar confirmed he co-produced the film, Katrina Kaif asked “Can I get some more money?”
Sooryavanshi broke box office records on its opening day.
It has surpassed all expectations by earning Rs 26 crore (£2.5 million) on its first day despite mixed reviews from critics.
Sooryavanshi is screening at cinemas across the UK now.
Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Phone Bhoot and Tiger 3.
