Aishwarya Rai refused entry at Cannes?
OMG! Was the superstar and beauty queen of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan denied entry to the India Pavilion at Cannes? Indeed she was.
Aishwarya dazzled all her fans as she arrived to the Festival but was denied entry as she didn’t have the pass to get in (embarrassing much?).
She arrived to a photo call to promote her comeback film, Jazbaa. Wearing a beautiful burgundy gown, Monika thinks Ash undoubtedly looked like a star.
It was not till FICCI came 20 minutes later and solved the issue and reassured authorities she was not someone to leave outside. Ash gained entry and went on to wow the crowd. Phew!
Aamir puts on weight for Dangal
Bollywood method actor, Aamir Khan, is putting on A LOT weight for his new film Dangal. He is playing the role as a wrestler, but his mom and wife are not too happy with his endless transformations.
Now weighing an incredible 95kg, Aamir is dealing with breathing and eating difficulties, especially now that he has also turned vegetarian for the film:
“My mom and my wife are very worried about my health as they feel I am playing with my health. Even I feel the same,” he said.
The actor reportedly has said he will get rid of the added weight once the movie is made. Monika hopes you take more care of your health, Aamir!
Deepika slights Amitabh?
Amitabh was not present at D’s Piku success bash. It was a huge surprise that the legend didn’t attend but it came into light that Deepika didn’t actually send Mr B an invite. Uh oh!
Out of all people to forget about, the veteran and co-star was accidentally left off the invite list.
D exclaimed that she feels extremely embarrassed, saying: “It was a major technical error on my part and by the time it came to my notice it was too late and I’ll never forgive myself for it.”
Big B apparently had this to say in response: “Arre madam… Jaane dijiye. Jo beet gayi so baat gayi.”
Chin up D, I’m sure Amitabh has a big heart just like you, I mean who can’t forgive someone like Deepika, right?
Ranbir gushes over Katrina!
Ranbir has finally opened up about his relationship with long-time girlfriend Katrina. While adding he is totally in awe of her, he respects her a lot as an individual and actor:
“Katrina is actually a badmaash on set. She isn’t what she comes across as. She constantly needles you, constantly challenges you. If she doesn’t like something, she’ll rub it in my face. She is not good with compliments, she loves to criticise.”
Seems like Kat certainly wears the trousers in this relationship! The pair are rumoured be tying the knot later this year! Monika can’t wait!
Salman still protective over Katrina?
Khan and Kaif were at once the cutest couple of Bollywood. Although their relationship ended years ago, Salman is still protective over his ex-lover. Cute right?
Talking to ‘Hello India’, Salman spoke intimately about his friendship with Katrina and exclaimed how genuine it really is:
“What’s wrong with that…..she’s a wonderful girl, she’s always been, and she’s a part of our family. She can come home anytime. I am really protective about her, so yes, that proximity, that friendship will always be there.”

Alia wants to Move Out!
Bubbly young actress Alia is keen to move out her family home. She is currently decorating her new place and will move in with sister Shaheen Bhatt in early 2016.
Although her mum Soni is okay with her choice to move out, her dad isn’t too taken with the idea. Apparently Mahesh saab said:
“Why do you have to move out? Why do you need your own place when you have all the privacy you need right here in this house?!”
Monika thinks Alia should be wary of her dad and not take too much advantage. Alia went on to say, ‘Dads will be dads!’. Yes, Alia that is very true! Alia has taken a big step towards adulthood and independence. What do you guys think?
Ed Sheeran opens up about Bollywood
Popular singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran finally opened up about his experiences in India on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show.
The star who visited in March, met the Bachchans and a plethora of Bollywood stars, despite never having watched a Bollywood film in his life:
“We got invited to one of their houses afterwards, it was a wedding that they’d just done. I ate a load of curry.
“I was chatting with this woman for about 2 hours thinking she was 21, but turned out she was 50. So, they age really well!”

Salman throws birthday bash for Sonakshi
Salman and Sonakshi’s friendship is still going strong since their film Dabangg.
Their on-screen romance has sparked a beautiful friendship clearly shown by Salman throwing Sonakshi a birthday bash in her honour.
Salman hosted the surprise party at his farmhouse in Mumbai to celebrate Sonakshi’s 28th birthday and invited a huge list of guests including close family and friends.
