Directed by Rufus Norris, and written by David Hare, the play has been adapted for the stage by Katherine Boo’s bestselling non-fiction book.

The play follows the stories of slum dwellers on the outskirts of Mumbai. Despite living in such unfortunate circumstances, the dwellers believe they can build themselves a better life.

But mixed in with this enthused optimism is slum politics trying to bring them down. Will they be able to breakthrough the poverty line?

Meera Syal is joined by a huge stellar cast for this incredible play. They include Hiran Abeysekera, Esh Alladi, Nathalie Armin, Pal Aron, Tia-Lana Chinapyel, Vincent Ebrahim, Sartaj Garewal, Mariam Haque, Thusitha Jayasundera, and Muzz Khan.

6. Your Details – In order to claim a winning entry, the entrant supply DESIblitz.com with his/her legal name, a valid email address, and telephone number.

Winner – the winning entrant of the competition will be selected using a random number algorithmic process which will select one number from only the correctly answered entries input serially into the system. If details supplied by any winner are incorrect, then their ticket will be offered to the next random number from the winning entries.
