Nadia Khan discussed viewers criticising celebrities, calling them hypocrites.

She is currently the host of the Ramadan show Life Green Hai.

Alongside Aijaz Aslam, she brings viewers a blend of entertainment and enlightenment during the festive period.

In a recent episode, Shaista Lodhi was a guest.

The conversation naturally meandered towards the prevalent trend of incessant criticism directed at celebrities.

Nadia Khan, revered for her outspoken nature and unapologetic demeanour, didn’t shy away.

She shed light on a concerning phenomenon prevalent in today’s digital age.

“People used to write letters and emails before. They used to be very well-behaved.”

Nadia mentioned the stark contrast between the behaviour of individuals when she encounters them in real life versus their behaviour online.

According to Nadia, many individuals are nice and respectful in face-to-face interactions.

“They only unleash a barrage of negativity through anonymous and vitriolic comments on social media.”

Nadia Khan called them cruel and labelled them “hypocrites” because they only say such things online.

“Some people when they are commenting, they get very cruel, maybe because they know that no one is watching and they won’t be held accountable.”

This contrast led her to draw parallels with the old saying: “Bandar Ke Haath Main Maachis.”

But people were offended by her statements and Nadia received heavy criticism.

A user commented: “Hypocrites? Take a look at yourself, Nadia.

“The entire year you are dancing and acting and wearing immodest clothes.

“Today you sit on television hosting a Ramadan show with your head covered. Who is the hypocrite here?”

Another said: “Didn’t she and Shaista Lodhi hate each other?

“They had a huge fight over morning shows too. And now they’re working together just because it benefits their views and will earn them money.

“If anyone is a hypocrite, it is them.”

One remarked: “They can’t even cover their heads properly. At least don’t make fun of Islam like this.”

Another wrote:

“She would be nothing without us. She deserves no respect when she cannot respect her people.”

Nadia Khan played a pivotal role in revitalising the concept of morning shows in the country. She has brought a fresh and dynamic approach to the genre.

Her groundbreaking show, which originated in Dubai, quickly became a massive hit among viewers, resonating deeply with the masses.

However, despite her success, Nadia Khan has experienced her fair share of ups and downs in both her career and personal life.
