“Adnan, I was amazed to see your first scene.“
Adnan Jilani candidly shared his thoughts on Nadia Khan’s controversial behaviour and her recent trolling of actors and drama makers.
The actor didn’t hold back from addressing the hypocrisy he perceived in Nadia’s behaviour.
Adnan recalled a recent encounter with Nadia, during which she had praised his performance in the hit drama Bismil.
Mimicking her tone, he shared the compliment she gave him:
“Adnan, I was amazed to see your first scene. It was brilliant; it didn’t look like acting.
“You performed it so naturally; it was an incredible performance. Wow!”
He pointed out the irony, given that just a few days earlier, Nadia had expressed a completely different attitude toward him.
Adnan Jilani revealed that when they first met in Dubai, Nadia was reluctant to speak with him.
She had already formed a negative opinion about him, believing he was an “angry person” without giving him a chance.
Adnan said it contrasted sharply with the praise she had given him later.
During the show, Junaid Saleem also weighed in on Nadia Khan’s tendency to troll actors, particularly for their roles in supporting characters.
While acknowledging Nadia’s role as a host and critic, Adnan emphasised that every project, including Bismil, has both strengths and weaknesses.
He clarified that while Nadia’s critiques were part of her job, he values the support of his fans more than any critic.
Adnan Jilani said: “I stay away from controversies, but every project has both good and bad points. The actors know why they are part of that show.
“My fans are more valuable to me than anyone else. They are happy with my performance.”
He also defended his decision to play a supporting role in Bismil.
The actor stated that every character in a drama contributes to the success of the project.
Nadia Khan recently sparked controversy with back-to-back harsh reviews of top Pakistani dramas and actors.
Known for her critical opinions, she has not shied away from calling out actors for poor performances or questionable script choices.
Many fans have expressed their frustration with her seemingly personal vendettas against certain actors and projects.
