The shooting for Vijay’s highly anticipated film, GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), is in full swing in Kerala.

However, amidst the excitement surrounding his visit to the state after almost 14 years, an unfortunate incident occurred.

Fans went overboard, leading to the vandalism of Vijay’s car.

Upon Vijay’s arrival in Kerala for the shooting of GOAT, fans swarmed the area, causing chaos and commotion.

Thousands of fans gathered outside the airport on the same day he checked into his hotel.

They hoped to catch a glimpse of the superstar, reflecting the immense love and adulation he commands in the region.

However, the situation took a turn for the worse when the crowd became uncontrollable, leading to damage to his car.

In a viral video, broken glass covers the inside of the car. Meanwhile, the vehicle was covered in dents.

Sharing the video, the user said: “Condition of the car used for Thalapathy’s journey from the airport to the hotel!!

“The next few days will be a real headache for Trivandrum Police!! Craze.”

The incident raised concerns among netizens as it posed a potential threat to the safety of the actor.

A user said: “It’s not craze. It is criminal, it is a social nuisance and Vijay fans should be ashamed.”

The incident could be attributed to various rumours.

It suggests it might be Vijay’s last project before delving into active politics.

Vijay’s visit to Kerala holds significant importance as it marks his return to the state after more than a decade.

His previous film, Leo, enjoyed tremendous success in Kerala, further solidifying his fan base in the region.

GOAT is currently in its final stages of production, with major sequences already shot in Chennai, Hyderabad, Thailand, and Pondicherry.

The film, helmed by Venkat Prabhu, boasts an ensemble cast featuring Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash and Ajay Raj in pivotal roles.

Trisha Krishnan shared the screen with Vijay in Leo.

It is rumoured that she may make a cameo appearance in GOAT.

The film, described as a time-travel movie inspired by Hollywood’s Looper, sees Vijay essaying dual roles – a teenager and a middle-aged man.

The movie’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

Produced by AGS Entertainment, GOAT is slated to hit the silver screens later in 2024, promising to be a cinematic extravaganza for Thalapathy Vijay’s legion of fans.
