"I have seen it more than 10 times…"
Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Thalapathy 67 is the most awaited upcoming project of the Tamil film industry.
The team has released the title, promo video and release date on February 3, 2023.
Thalapathy 67 is titled Leo – Bloody Sweet.
The film will be released worldwide on October 19, 2023.
The two-minute promo video of Leo shows Vijay making chocolate and simultaneously forging a sword.
He is seen dipping the sword in the chocolate while waiting for an entourage of villains.
The promo ends with a battalion of cars reaching his home and the actor is seen wielding a sword dripping with chocolate.
However, the video does not give hints about whether the film is a part of Lokesh’s LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe).
The producers announced the reveal in a tweet with the caption:
“We are as excited as you are, with all your support & love we are happy to present you the title of #Thalapathy67 – Team #Leo”
Fans have been going gaga over the promo of the film.
One fan wrote: “I have seen it more than 10 times… It gives goosebumps every time…”

The promo is similar to that of Vikram’s title reveal video.
In the Vikram promo, Kamal Haasan was preparing a South Indian spread for a group of police officials and politicians.
Meanwhile, the producers have been making a slew of casting announcements this week.
It was announced earlier this week that Trisha Krishnan would be playing the female lead in her fifth collaboration with Vijay.
Arjun, Priya Anand, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy, and Mysskin, among others, are part of the film.
Recently, filmmaker Mysskin said that he was left with a bloody mouth after shooting an intense fight scene with Vijay.
He also praised Lokesh for not trying to tell actors how ‘to act’.
Thalapathy 67 has become one of the most anticipated films of the year, especially due to the news of it being a part of Lokesh’s Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which was established in Kaithi and Vikram.
Bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy, Leo is currently in production and the cast and crew have flown to Kashmir for shooting.
Leo has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Philomin Raj and dance choreography by Dinesh.
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the highly-anticipated film.
