After being fired from The Apprentice, Dr Asif Munaf broke his silence over the calls to have him struck off the medical register.

"They think this will shake me. It only strengthens me."

Dr Asif Munaf, who was the third person fired from The Apprentice, has addressed the calls to have him struck off the medical register over “anti-semitic remarks”.

He faced backlash after he made a series of “anti-Jewish” posts online.

This included calling Zionism a “satanic cult” and calling Zionists “odiously ogre-like”.

In a series of tweets, Asif said:

“They have tried to get me struck off by referring me to the General Medical Council.

“They think this will shake me. It only strengthens me.

“Don’t they know that the exact amount of money I will make before I die was written before I was even conceived?

“I have absolute conviction in my Lords Decree.”

He also said The Apprentice “isn’t the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my life”.

Asif continued: “Unlike most other candidates, the show is just one small chapter in my life.

“It’s not my entire personality. Nor is it the biggest thing I’ve done in my life.

“This is why they are beholden to the broadcaster and I am free. Alhamdulillah for Islam.”

Another tweet read: “Staying silent is the epitome of cowardice.”

Asif came under fire before the show aired when his tweets were revealed, prompting the BBC to give him diversity and inclusion training.

But he continued to voice his opinions on X, sparking further backlash.

This resulted in Asif being edited out of the latest episode of the spin-off show The Apprentice: You’re Fired.

Asif made his feelings clear in a series of tweets, warning it would only ignite a “bigger flame”.

He said: “They did me dirty. The lobby pressured the broadcaster and they relented. This will only ignite a bigger flame in my belly. We have Him.”

In another post, Asif said: “They called for me to be cut out the broadcaster and suspended by the regulator.

“Today my journey on the show ended. But my journey with Him is still ongoing.

“Never sell your faith for fame. Always keep speaking the truth. Especially in the midst of genocide.”

In the third episode, the candidates were tasked with creating a virtual escape room, with Asif as the project manager.

But after creating a bizarre game that featured bears, Asif failed to lead his team to victory.

He then caused more outrage on social media when he chose to bring Onyeka and Sam back into the boardroom.

When Sam challenged Asif to give his reason for selecting her, he asked Lord Sugar to change his pick and instead chose Amina.

It was then decided that all four would return to the boardroom.

On social media, The Apprentice viewers accused Asif of sexism for bringing his female team members back into the boardroom.

Ultimately, Lord Sugar fired Asif for his poor leadership skills.
