Jailer, starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is one of the most-awaited Tamil films of 2023.
The shooting of the upcoming project is going on in full swing.
The film has been the talk of the town since its announcement and the cast features huge names.
The latest addition to the cast is Tamannaah Bhatia.
According to sources close to the development, the Paiyaa actor has completed a two-day schedule for the film in Hyderabad recently.
The source added: “Tamannaah Bhatia is juggling between the shoot of two films-Jailer and Bandra co-starring Malayalam actor Dileep.
“After wrapping the 2-day shoot of Jailer, she headed to Kochi for Malayalam film Bandra‘s new schedule shoot.
“She will then join Rajinikanth and the team of Jailer in Chennai for one day shoot followed by another scheduled in March-April.”
Sun Pictures shared the news by sharing a poster featuring Tamannaah.
The tweet read: “@tamannaahspeaks from the sets of #Jailer.”
Following this announcement, fans on the internet are already speculating that Tamannaah’s still is from a song.
One fan wrote: “Looks like a retro flashback to me. Costumes of Mohanlal, Sunil, Tamanah look like a different period… #Thalaivar #SuperStar #Jailer.”

Expressing her happiness about being a part of mega projects, Tamannaah recently said:
“Having a busy year is just a blessing. I’m just switching from one character to another with the tedious schedules.
“While it can be exhausting at some point, it’s extremely fulfilling as there are people out there eagerly waiting to see me on the big screen & this is what makes me love my work more & work harder.”
The film’s special teaser was released on Rajinikanth’s birthday, and the makers introduced the actor’s character Muthuvel Pandian.
Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s first look from the film was released a few days ago.
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar will also be making his Tamil debut with Jailer.
According to reports, the actor is the antagonist of the film.
Jailer, an action-comedy film, also features Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar in key roles.
Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, Jailer has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
The film is expected to hit the big screens in the summer of 2023.
However, an official announcement has not been made yet.
Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, and Vasanth Ravi are also a part of the film.
