SRK’s ‘Jawan’ sells 150,000 Tickets in Advance Booking

Ever since its official announcement, the upcoming blockbuster Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and helmed by Atlee, has been making waves in the entertainment industry.

The dynamic fusion of Bollywood’s beloved superstar with the South’s massy director has sent fans into a frenzy.

The film’s intriguing preview only served to heighten the excitement.

However, the recent release of the film’s official trailer has sent shockwaves through the industry, indicating that Jawan is poised for a record-breaking box office opening.

According to early reports, Jawan is set to kickstart its journey with a resounding bang.

The anticipation surrounding the film is so intense that a staggering 150,000 tickets have already been sold across India’s two largest national multiplex chains for its opening day.

Impressively, this ticket rush comprises 125,000 tickets sold through the PVR and INOX chains, with an additional 25,000 tickets snapped up in Cinepolis theatres.

Notably, these remarkable sales figures pertain exclusively to the movie’s premiere on September 7, 2023.

The cinematic extravaganza will be made available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, ensuring that fans across the nation can savour the action in their preferred language.

Additionally, the film will be presented in both 2D and immersive IMAX formats, promising an unforgettable viewing experience.

In a testament to the fervent fanbase of Shah Rukh Khan, “The SRK Universe,” a dedicated fan club, has orchestrated a grand spectacle of its own.

With meticulous planning and boundless enthusiasm, they have arranged special screenings in over 300 cities.

Jawan boasts an ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, and even a cameo appearance by Deepika Padukone.

The movie has so far amassed a total worldwide box office revenue of Rs. 572.8 crore, comprising an India gross of Rs. 381.8 crore and an additional Rs. 191 crore from overseas markets.
