“I saw him for the first time on-screen"
Rajkummar Rao may be set to marry his long-term partner Patralekha in November 2021, according to sources close to the couple.
The actors are believed to have set the wedding for between November 10, 2021, and November 12, 2021.
According to the Times of India, the ceremony will be a low-key affair although various celebrities have already been invited.
Rao and Patralekha starred together in the 2014 film CityLights. The film was also Patralekha’s debut.
But, they first started dating in 2010.
Patralekha said: “I saw him for the first time on-screen when I watched Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010).
“I thought that the weird guy he played in the film was actually what he was like.
“My perception of him was already tarnished.
“He told me later that he had first seen me in an ad and thought, ‘I’m going to marry her.’
“It was so ironic.”
The couple, who live together, shared their love for each other on Instagram on Valentine’s Day 2021.
Patralekha shared a black and white photo of them together in front of the Eiffel Tower.

She added the simple caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
But Rao’s was more detailed and full of thanks.
It read: “Happy Valentine’s Day my love Patralekha.
“My life would not be complete without you.”
“Thank you for completing me.
“Thank you for always pushing me to do better. Thank you for always making me laugh like crazy.
“May you also share all the happiness I have. #SpreadLove”

Love Sex Aur Dhokha was Rao’s debut movie, after which he took on a few different supporting roles.
His big break came when he was cast as a lead in the sports drama Kai Po Che! (2013) alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh.
Meanwhile, after the success of CityLights and the praise she received for her performance, Patralekha went on to appear in a few other movies.
But she now appears to focus mainly on television and web series.
The actress first appeared in Bose: Dead/Alive (2017), a mini-series for streaming platform ALTBalaji, which starred her boyfriend.
Most recently, she was a lead in the Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu (2021) web series alongside Parth Samthaan, which also streamed on ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
Neither Rajkummar Rao nor Patralekha have yet confirmed whether they are indeed set to tie the knot in November 2021.
