"I will cut you into pieces and not spare you."
Fitness influencer Rajat Dalal was arrested in Ahmedabad for abducting, beating and torturing an 18-year-old student.
It is reported that Rajat attacked the young man after the latter shared a video that allegedly targeted the influencer.
Taking place at a gym, the video showed Rajat walking past.
The caption read: “Every morning, seeing your face at the gym ruins my day.”
Rajat was left offended by the post and called the student to the gym, asking him for his address, which the student provided.
The YouTuber and several accomplices turned up at his address, where they abducted the teenager.
Reportedly, the student was taken to Green Gales Society in Jagatpur and was verbally abused.
Rajat Dalal forced the student to do squats and threatened:
“How dare you make my video? I will cut you into pieces and not spare you.”
Disturbing footage circulating online shows Rajat and his accomplices attacking the student in a car, forcing him to call the influencer “papa” and apologise.
The young man was taken to a cowshed in Chandkheda, where he was further humiliated as the group smeared cow dung on his face and beat him, with the ordeal being filmed.
The abuse continued as the victim was then taken to a flat.
There, the group forced him to clean a toilet before being beaten again.
The severity of the assault resulted in the victim losing consciousness after which, Rajat Dalal urinated on him.
Rajat eventually took the student back to his home where he even threatened the victim’s mother.
Rajat bragged: “I would have killed him but he’s too young so I am sparing him.
“I am a Jat from Haryana. I have big connections here. The police can’t harm me, they are in my pocket.”
Rajat made the student do more squats in front of his mother while he showed her the video her son had posted.
After the YouTuber and his accomplices left the scene, the student was taken to hospital.
A police complaint was filed at Sabarmati Police Station in Ahmedabad.
In his complaint, the student said people frequently took pictures with Rajat in the gym.
On May 1, he posted the video and this angered Rajat.
The police launched an investigation and arrested Rajat and three accomplices. A case of abduction and assault has been registered.
Investigations are ongoing.
