Pushpa 3: The Rampage has been confirmed through a social media error.
The Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty shared a photograph on his X account.
The image showed Resul with several other people.
Behind the individuals, a poster of Pushpa 3: The Rampage was on display.
Before being deleted, the image was reshared on X by different users.
Under such a post, however, netizens expressed reservations about the new film.
One fan commented: “The third part will never take place. Save my tweet.”
A second person wrote: “It’s just for social media hype. That’s all.”
A third added: “No use at all.”
A fourth said: “Is it necessary at all? Would it be better if it ends with Part Two?”

However, fans are also awaiting the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil.
It serves as a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
Talking about Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu recently said: “It is expected to be the biggest film in India.
“I thought it is a big thing for us as the whole of India is expecting this film from us.
“So, I should be responsible as it will bring a good name for my homeland.
“It is a proud moment for Telugu people who have supported me for 20 years and made me an actor.
“So, it was my time to make them proud on a national scale.
“The film belongs to bouncers, unit members, and everybody. I want this film to be a hit and make it meaningful for them.
“I’m saying with utmost humility that I want this film to be a hit for everybody else.”
At a press event, Rashmika addressed and praised Allu.
She said: “Acting alongside you has been an honour.
“You’ve redefined boundaries, and I believe this movie will create a wildfire globally.”
Pushpa 2: The Rule has sold over three lakh tickets in advance bookings over 12 hours.
The film has surpassed the bookings of KGF: Chapter 2 (2022) and Pathaan (2023).
The movie has already earned over Rs 10 crores (£9 million) due to its ticket sales.
It is currently unknown whether the actors from the first two instalments will reprise their roles in Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is scheduled to be released on December 5, 2024.
