Neelam Kothari got Upset with Husband after he Shot Intimate Scenes

Samir Soni recalled how his wife Neelam Kothari got upset with him after he filmed intimate scenes for a web series.

The actor opened up about his dynamics with his wife and how they get each other’s permission before performing intimate scenes on-screen with other actors.

But in one case, Neelam was not happy with him.

Samir recalled when he asked for Neelam’s permission to star in a web series that required his character to kiss his female co-star.

He explained: “The makers sent me the script and after every scene, the script said, ‘The boy kisses the girl’.

“One or two times is okay but after every episode, there was a kiss scene.

“I have to come home. So, I gave the script to my wife and I told her, ‘It is what it is. I can say no to the show. It’s not like this is Spielberg. More work will come in future. I will do it only if you are comfortable’.

“Like a big-hearted woman, she said, ‘This is good for your career. I will not watch the show’.”

But a few days later, Neelam’s tune changed after one of her friends watched the show and instigated some trouble.

Samir continued: “I finished shooting for the show and one day, I came back home and she asked me about the show.

“She asked me, ‘How were the intimate scenes?’ I was like, ‘I will do whatever the director says’.

“Luckily the director was a woman. Then she asked me, ‘How frequently were these scenes?’ I thought this isn’t going well.”

Explaining the reason behind Neelam’s doubt, Samir added:

“Apparently one of her friends had seen the show and she had instigated her, ‘How could you let your husband do something like this?’ and all that.

“I told her that I showed her the script.”

“At this point in time, I can’t say no to producers because they had already given me the script and I can’t say no to my wife.”

Neelam Kothari is currently seen in the Netflix series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives and she was part of an awkward moment when co-star Shalini Passi stormed out of an interview.

During the interview, Riddhima Sahni called Shalini a “very easy girl”.

Shalini appeared to get upset by the comment and walked out.
