Recently, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi commenced the ‘Swachh Bharat’ (Clean India) campaign and has borrowed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge idea to promote it.
Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kamal Haasan were challenged in person by the PM to promote the significance of cleanliness to their fans.
What is heartening is that apart from the ones nominated, other celebrities too have volunteered their support to the task through social networking sites. Monika is impressed!

Ranbir Kapoor Surgery
Katrina reserved a luxurious suite at a five star hotel and invited Ranbir’s friends for a terrific birthday bash for the birthday boy.
Later, Katrina the devoted girlfriend, stayed by Ranbir’s side in the hospital as he suffered and had to undergo surgery for adenoid tonsil at Breach Candy Hospital.
Even as the hospital’s VIP floor has always been busy with the stars getting treated, the couple kept a low profile to avoid unnecessary attention.
Kat made sure that her boyfriend got enough rest before he was discharged. Aww you two, together through sickness and in health!
Sonam’s boyfriend moves to Mumbai
Talking about true love, recently there were rumours of reports of Sonam Kapoor and her entrepreneur-model boyfriend, Sahir Berry, parting ways amicably.
Reason was that the long distance relationship was psychologically draining both of them, hence they decided to break up mutually and disconnect on a good note.
However Monika’s sources told her that Sahir couldn’t tolerate being apart and has decided to move from Delhi to Mumbai, just to live nearer to his girlfriend!
Berry is at present house hunting and this initiative has made Sonam’s heart melt. Rumours suggest that now things between Sonam and Berry are even better and they are steady as a rock!
Aamir’s Bare-Dare for Hrithik
When Hrithik Roshan dared Aamir Khan to ‘put down the transistor’ and shoot a video showing the act, without any inhibitions at all, Aamir not only accepted Hrithik’s bare-dare but also tweeted the video to the world.
Which transistor, you ask ? Remember the notorious PK poster? The same one in which Aamir was pictured nude bar a transistor covering his ‘privates’!
The actor who is known for his wit and brains, completed the dare but with a slight twist. In fact in the video, Aamir even warned Hrithik that he would not be responsible for the consequences.
Well the twist being, he took off the transistor while being fully clothed. Wink wink!
