Mehwish Hayat, renowned for her dynamic performances in both film and television, has recently shared that she is considering marriage.
During her appearance on Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir, Mehwish discussed her readiness towards marriage.
While discussing marriage, Mehwish revealed that she has received numerous proposals, and she has started to take them more seriously.
Mehwish revealed: “Yes, I get marriage proposals, and now I have started considering them too. I have made up my mind regarding marriage.
“Previously, I was solely focused on my work, but now I’m open to the idea.”
However, she also mentioned that she continues to decline proposals suggested by her family, indicating that she is looking for someone that she connects with.
When discussing the qualities she seeks in a life partner, Mehwish emphasised the importance of kindness, intelligence, and family values.
For her, marriage goes beyond a partnership between two people; it’s a union of families.
Her ideal partner would be someone who respects her work, has a stable career, and values her ambitions.
She said: “I believe my partner should be intelligent and kind-hearted. It’s essential how he treats his family and balances his work life.”
Highlighting her own career demands, she noted:
“I need someone who understands my profession, is financially secure, and knows how to spoil me.”
On the professional front, Mehwish Hayat is making a return to television after focusing on films.
She has been cast in an upcoming drama alongside Ahsan Khan and also features in a music video with Yo Yo Honey Singh.
The anticipation for this collaboration is high, especially after Singh recently unveiled the teaser for the music video of ‘Jatt Mehkma’.
‘Jatt Mehkma’ is part of Honey’s album GLORY, which was released in August 2024.
The 34-second teaser, released on November 3, showcases Mehwish in a stunning off-shoulder black gown.
She accessorised with a pearl necklace and matching heels.
Her glamorous look was complemented by Honey, who looked dapper in a brown suit with an oversized fur coat.
