Kartik Aaryan spoke about his personal life, revealing that he has dated a Bollywood actress in the past.
He also discussed infidelity in Bollywood, stating that the media create speculation to link up actors.
Speaking to Ranveer Allahabadia, Kartik was asked if he has ever dated a Bollywood actress.
Kartik replied: “Yes.”
However, he did not specify who.
The actor has been linked to a number of actresses in the past.
Reports had been rife that he was in a relationship with his Love Aaj Kal co-star Sara Ali Khan. But the rumoured couple did not confirm or deny it.
In April 2022, Kartik and Kriti Sanon sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together in Mauritius.
Upon their arrival, they walked together before hugging and going their separate ways.
This sparked dating rumours but nothing further came to fruition.
Kartik Aaryan also spoke about infidelity in Bollywood.
He continued: “If two actors are working together and go out for a coffee, it will be reported that they were ‘spotted’ together.
“People will begin to talk. Shall I stop going out? Or shall I look for secret spots? What if two people are meeting just as friends?
“If four people go out, they’ll publish photos of just two. This happens.
“And because of this, it seems strange when you’re ‘spotted’ with someone else later.”
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan is coming off the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
The film is dominating the box office, grossing over Rs. 92 Crore (£9.4 million) so far.
The film has been such a success, that even Kartik could not get into the cinema to watch it.
The actor visited Gaiety cinema in Mumbai but failed to get a ticket for himself as the show was fully booked.
Kartik thanked his fans for making Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 a success. Taking to social media, the actor said:
“As actors we crave for this day. This Housefull board! Where I myself didn’t get the tickets. #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 on fire. Thank you to the audience.”
Kartik will next be seen in Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon.
The film is directed by Rohit Dhawan and is expected to be released in November 2022.
