"We can’t wait for you all to make memories"
On July 12, 2023, Indian singer and rapper, Karan Aujla announced his second album Making Memories was coming out.
Understandably, fans went into a frenzy as they have been eagerly awaiting a new feature-length project since his debut album B.T.F.U in 2021.
Sharing the album artwork and title, he then released the full tracklist two days later.
The nine-track album will only have two features – Yarah on ‘Bachke Bachke’ and Preston Pablo on ‘Admirin’ You’.
The famous singer didn’t want to leave fans without any music in the lead-up to the album, so ‘Admirin’ You’ is the official lead single from Making Memories.
The video and track will release on August 4, 2023.
The full album however will release on August 18, 2023.
Upon reflection, Karan Aujla posted a studio session with producer Ikky on his Instagram and captioned it:
“The moment Ikky and I started Making Memories.
“It’s been an incredible ride and I’m happy to share that Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India are now on this journey with us.
“This album is something that we’ve never done before, and we can’t wait for you all to make memories of your own on 8/18.”
Although the album will give listeners a whole heap of new music, fans haven’t been left stranded in 2023.
Aujla and producer Ikky have been on a hot streak, releasing music videos to ‘Yeah Naah’, ’52 Bars’ and ‘Take It Easy’.
All three tracks were off Aujla’s February EP, Four You.
So in retrospect, the Indian singer is quickly cementing himself as one of the hottest artists in the game right now with two projects within seven months.
Will Making Memories make further history for the adored musician?
