“I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support.

“But as I move forward, I realise it’s time to recalibrate and go back home.

“As a husband, father, and a son. And also as an actor.

“So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right.

“The last two movies and many years of memories.

“Thank you again. For everything and everything in between.

“Forever indebted.”

The post was met with surprised reactions and support for Vikrant Massey.

A third person wrote: “I hear you, I see you, I feel you.

“Congratulations on finding and surrendering to purpose and dharma.

“More power to you. You are an inspiration.”

Some users wondered whether the statement was simply a publicity stunt.

Another questioned: “Is it a gimmick or any upcoming project? Or are you really retiring from movies?”
