Following the release of Pyari Nimmo, the show is facing claims that it has copied Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.
Pyari Nimmo is a story about a girl, Nimmo, who has dreams about situations that become reality.
But things take a turn when she has a dream that her parents die. When the dream comes true, she is told that she is an unlucky girl and brings bad luck wherever she goes.
Nimmo goes through hardships as she grows up and eventually, she is married to Abaan, an individual who suffers from mental health issues.
However, viewers have claimed that Abaan is very similar to Bhola from the 2018 drama serial Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.
Imran Ashraf was recognised as one of the most talented actors in the industry for his portrayal of Bhola and many fans came forward to say that he was the perfect casting for the role.
Imran engaged his audience, making them laugh and cry with his impeccable acting and Bhola became a character that was talked about for a very long time after the drama came to an end.
So, with the comparisons being made between the two characters, has Pyari Nimmo taken ideas from Ranjha Ranjha Kardi?
The clip was shared on Instagram and many comments were made in comparison to Bhola.
One comment read: “No matter what you do, Imran Ashraf is the best Bhola.”
Another said: “Bhola is now available at a cheaper rate.”
A third added: “This drama is copying the drama that had Bhola in it.”
One of the main similarities between both dramas is that in Pyari Nimmo, Abaan’s aunty is secretly giving him medication which does not allow his mental health to improve.
In Ranjha Ranjha Kardi, Bhola’s uncle is seen doing the same.

Although there are similarities between the two serials, Pyari Nimmo is proving to be popular with its audience and the daily serial is raking up the ratings with each passing episode.
The drama stars Hira Khan, Waseem Abbas, Rashiq Farooqui, Erum Akhter, Haris Waheed, Asim Mehmood and Naveed Raza.
It has been written by Imran Syfer, directed by Sami Sani and produced by Erfan Ghanchi.
Alongside Imran Ashraf, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi starred Iqra Aziz, Asma Abbas, Kashif Mehmood, Syed Jibran, Munazzah Arif and Noor-ul-Hassan.
It was written by Faiza Iftikhar and directed by Kashif Nisar.
Ranjha Ranjha Kardi won an array of awards including Best Writer, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Original Soundtrack at the 2020 Lux Style Awards.
