He then took matters into his own hands
After an Indian man was murdered, police have now arrested two youths.
The suspects were arrested in Andhra Pradesh.
When police questioned the suspects, they discovered that they were responsible for the death of Shyam Lal.
It was revealed that the killing happened following a row over Shyam’s girlfriend.
A friend of the suspects, Ashok Meena, had molested the young woman. When Shyam found out, he beat Ashok.
The two suspects, Ajit and Prince, subsequently avenged their friend and brutally killed Shyam.
The incident first came to light on June 22, 2021, after police received a report that a young man’s body was found by the riverbank in the village of Gathila Kheda.
Police identified the victim as Shyam Lal, a resident of Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
A murder case was registered and police quickly traced the suspects. However, the two men fled.
They were not found again until July 21, 2021, in Andhra Pradesh and they were taken into custody.
During questioning, Ajit and Prince admitted to killing Shyam.
Police said that their friend Ashok Meena had molested Shyam’s girlfriend. He then took matters into his own hands and beat up Ashok.
When Ajit and Prince found out about the assault, they asked Shyam to apologise. However, the Indian man refused.
Shyam had also discussed the matter with his landlord Om Gurjar, who also got into a row with the pair, resulting in Prince’s phone breaking.
Tensions increased further Shyam refused to provide money for the phone repair.
In an act of revenge, Ajit and Prince came up with a plan to kill Shyam.
On June 22, 2021, Shyam was waiting in Mandpiya when he was abducted by the pair.
The victim was taken to an isolated area where he was stripped naked and had his hands and feet tied.
Ajit and Prince then slit Shyam’s throat, killing him instantly.
Following the killing, both men fled, travelling to various states in India. The suspects were eventually arrested in the city of Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Because the suspects did not stay in each area for long, police found it difficult to trace them.
As they continued fleeing from the police, money gradually became a problem for them and remaining on the run increasingly became an issue.
Following their arrest by officers at Pur Police Station, Ajit and Prince were remanded in custody
