“This reunion is going to be the best of all!"

It has been revealed that Hamza Ali Abbasi will make his TV comeback in the drama serial Jaan-e-Jahan on December 22, 2023.

After the trailers were released, an announcement was made on social media.

Hamza fans are in for a treat as the upcoming serial will be broadcast twice a week on Friday and Saturday.

Jaan-e-Jahan sees the reunion of the Pyarey Afzal duo Hamza Ali Abbasi and Ayeza Khan.

Also joining the cast are Nawal Saeed, Emmad Irfani, Zainab Qayyum, Srha Asghar, Asif Raza Mir and Savera Nadeem.

The drama has been written by Rida Bilal, directed by Qasim Ali Mureed and produced by Humayun Saeed, Samina Humayun Saeed, Sana Shahnawaz and Shehzad Naseeb.

Jaan-e-Jahan has excited viewers since the trailer was released and they have left their opinions for the release.

One fan said: “This reunion is going to be the best of all!

“I can’t wait to see Ayeza Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi back on our screens together after ten long years!”

Another added: “The aesthetics are exactly what’s needed right now, classy and sophisticated. I genuinely cannot wait for this.

“I haven’t watched a single Pakistani drama completely since Alif. Hamza’s absence in the industry was definitely felt.”

A third wrote: “This teaser is giving me old-school vibes. The aesthetics are so on point.

“Hamza’s voice is in the background and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan singing the OST. There is so much in this teaser.”

The drama focuses on an intense love story which has no boundaries.

It is Hamza Ali Abbasi’s first show since 2019’s Alif, which starred Sajal Aly.

In 2019, Hamza shocked his fans after he announced that he would be taking a break from the entertainment industry to focus on his religion and spiritualism.

Many asked him to rethink his decision whilst others congratulated his move and wished him well in his break.

Hamza stated:

“My perspective of life has been changed since I realised that I have to meet my God.”

“With this realisation, what I decided to do is that I now wish to talk to people. I wish to spread the message.”

He later clarified that he would be taking a long break.

Hamza is married to actress Naimal Khawar and the pair have a son together.
