“What will you do with so much money?”
Gujarati folk singer Urvashi Radadiya shared a video of herself performing at a function on the occasion of Tulsi Vivah.
Tulsi Vivah is a Hindu festival that is a ceremonial marriage of Tulsi and Lord Vishnu.
This year, the celebration commenced on November 15, 2021.
In the video shared on Instagram, the Gujarati singer sat on the stage, played the harmonium and sang.
As the performance progressed, a man walked up to her from behind and emptied a bucket full of money over her.
Members of the audience in Ahmedabad also showered the singer with money.
At one point, the Gujarati folk singer was forced to stop playing the harmonium as there were too many notes on the instrument.
She swept them aside and continued with her performance.
Money can also be seen spread over the entire stage.
Urvashi took to Instagram to share the video and thanked everyone for their “invaluable love”.
The singer also added the hashtag ‘money rain’.
